Why is GMO bad?

There is nothing inherently bad about GMO but there are many people who have serious questions about them. The main issue is that they are so new that if there are long-term problems from them we would not know about them yet. Since they are regulated as foods, they typically are not tested like drugs for safety. An ancillary problem is that nearly all GMO are produced under patent so poor farmers cannot afford to buy them. Also, unlike non-GMO, farmers are not allowed to set aside seed from their harvest to use in future plantings. They are required to buy completely new seed from the patent holder for each planting.

Is genetic engineering a good thing or a bad thing?

It could be argued that genetic research is neither good nor bad, it is the application of the research that may be good or bad. For example, a rich dictator creating a clone of himself - bad thing, a cure for Parkinson's disease - good thing.

In what year will robots take over?

robots eventually will take over the world like in terminator and there will be something like skynet and before the robots take over there will be a good robot and a bad robot and there will be someone like john connor the good robot will protect the human and the bad robot will try to defeat the human so the human doesn't protect the future so if i were you i would stack up on guns food and when the robots take over its man vs machine 'I'll be back'

Is gmo beet sugar good?

Sugar is a carbohydrate, and all DNA and protein associated with the GM trait are removed during the extraction, of the sugar from the rest of the plant. By extracting only a carbohydrate you are left with a product that contains no protein, no DNA, and therefore no GMO. No lab is able to determine the difference between sugar that came from a GMO plant and sugar that came from a non-GMO plant. "GMO" sugar is just plain old sugar and is no better or worse than "non-GMO" sugar because they are the same stuff. The plants they came from may be different but the sugar is the same.
