Yes, I some 2 stroke engines for boats have it and KTM is developing one for dirtbikes.
Complexity and expense
The fuel injection timing in a gas engine will not affect the mean effective pressure. In a diesel engine is the principal factor managing the bmep. In a gas engine the fuel injection timing have to match the events of valve opening or tuned induction but have nothing to do with mean effective pressure.
There is no difference. Petrol is just another name for gasoline. MPFI just means Multi-Point Fuel Injection. A petrol (gasoline) engine can be MPFI or it can have a carburetor. It can have many different ways to get gasoline (petrol) to the cylinders.
In my point of view two stroke engine is the best engine ,because in two stroke engine there are only two stages or two stroke .In which one stage complete the two process frist is suction & second one is compression ,in these two process completes in one stage. The best advantage of this engine is the in every cycle there is a power stroke due to which the engine performance is very good . But the biggest disadvantage is the fuel consumption . Which after some time reduced by the resarcheres.
The camshaft operated the inlet and outlet valves in the cylinder to admit fuel to the engine before ignition and expel the exhaust gas after the power stroke. The camshaft operates at half the crankshaft speed in a four-stroke engine.
Why the fuel consumption is less in 4 stroke engine as compared to 2 stroke engine
Mercury Optimax is a direct fuel-injection two-stroke outboard motor developed by Mercury Marine. It is designed to provide high performance and fuel efficiency by injecting fuel directly into the combustion chamber. The Optimax technology aims to reduce emissions and improve overall engine efficiency.
This engine is electronically fuel injected.
fuel injection
You can prevent fuel injection flooding by not pumping the gas pedal when trying to start the engine. Fuel injection systems do not need any additional fuel when starting the engine.
Carburetor, mechanical fuel injection, throttle body electronic fuel injection, ported electronic fuel injection,
It could be anything. The difference between the two is that in a two-stroke engine the piston goes back and forth (two strokes) for every ignition event (spark plug firing for a gas engine or fuel injection for a Diesel), while it goes back and forth twice (four strokes) for a four stroke engine.
HDI (High pressure Direct Injection) Used in diesel engines this technology gives better fuel economy and less engine noise.
M.P.F.I. Multi Point Fuel Injection. This is a fuel injection system for gasoline engine.
Yes it has a carburetor. An engine with fuel injection would be a fuel injected engine.
