Pigging is when a tight fitting (but not sticking!) plug (the pig) is inserted into a pipe, and then made to travel down the pipe by applying pressure to the pipe behind the pig. Pigs can be used to clean and inspect the pipe, and also to separate different batches of material from each other.
Remove the trap and clean it out. If it is all PVC and glue jointed, cut the pipe above and below the trap, clean it out and glue it back together with couplings.
You can do this with something like a storm water pipe. Storm water is basically clean and there is unlikely to be any problem with build up of sludge in the pipe. You should not do it with sewerage pipe as it will cause it to block up eventually
Use pipe die on worn threads if you have enough room for die to fit. If not, clean threads with wire brush.

The best way to clean a pipe using a pipe cleaner brush is to insert the brush into the pipe and move it back and forth to scrub away any residue or buildup. Repeat this process until the pipe is clean, then rinse it with water to remove any remaining debris.
The best technique for using a pipe cutter for PVC to ensure precise and clean cuts is to first measure and mark the cutting point on the pipe. Then, place the pipe cutter around the pipe at the marked point and tighten it. Rotate the cutter around the pipe in a steady motion, gradually tightening it as you go. This will create a clean and precise cut on the PVC pipe.

Well, honey, technically you can use witch hazel to clean your pipe, but it's not the most effective choice. But hey, if you're in a pinch, go ahead and give it a try.
