Support the sections above and below the hole with riser clamps. Cut out the damaged section with a sawzall (if it's Cast Iron have a multiple metal blades on hand) and replace with a section of either 3" or 4" PVC (depending on the diameter of your main vent) and secure above and below with rubber couplings (short section of rubber tubing with hose clamps attatched.
A two part epoxy might patch a small hole but certainly wouldn't be up to code and might not last.
Yes, temporarily. In the long run it's more efficient to get the pipe glue relevant to that pipe,
it is defined as the pipe cemented in the well to seal off formation fluids and to keep the hole from caving in.
Wrap it with insulation
Re pipe in copper or replace the pipe with the hole in it. Chances are all the steel is gone so when you try to take apart the threads, they will just shear off. You might find yourself in a world of hurt. Good luck. You will need it!Depending where the pin hole is one can use a bronze rod and braze the hole . If you know how to weld then welding is the way to goOne does NOT just install copper without know the PH of the water, velocity etc.
Not only can it be cleaner it should be water jetted every few years to make sure there is no residue hoar frosting.
To fix a hole in a copper pipe, you can use a pipe repair clamp or a soldering method. For a temporary fix, you can use epoxy putty or a rubber patch. It is important to turn off the water supply before attempting any repair.
To fix a hole in a PVC pipe, you can use a PVC pipe repair kit or epoxy putty. First, clean and dry the area around the hole. Then, follow the instructions on the repair kit or epoxy putty packaging to apply the material over the hole. Allow it to dry and cure according to the instructions before using the pipe again.

Would depend on the material the piping is made from
YES you can....There is no such thing as gettin stuck in the stink hole...
Rodents can and do get into almost any pipe.
No
If the pipe is in good enough shape you can weld over the hole, BUT If there is one small hole rusted in the system it is a good sign the pipe is rotted. There will be many other holes soon. There are probably more holes than you know about. You will probably have to have an exhaust shop put in a new pipe for you.
If it is galv. pipe there could be a small hole on threads. You would have to replace pipe.
you have to use the stink bomb
