Verticle down welding will always have lower penetration and less heat applied to the weld joint. As sheet metal is thinner and can not take excessive heat, verticle down reduces burn-through.

: you take apart the wood shed without breaking it and build a paint booth with some nails and a hammer.
To take apart a wooden pallet, you can use a hammer and a pry bar. Start by removing the nails from the pallet boards by placing the pry bar under the nail head and gently tapping it with the hammer to loosen the nail. Continue this process until all the nails are removed and the boards can be separated. Be cautious and wear protective gear to avoid injury.
Just buy one , or get a 12x12 wooden block, paint it white, and attach 4 metal rods to it

When you notice a split in a wooden chopping block, take action quickly, as delaying will increase the issue. You will need Titebond adhesive (food safe) and clamps. Be sure the wood is dry and clean of any foodstuffs. Glue and clamp and allow to cure. Prior to use clean very well and condition.
What are you wanting to take apart on your Continental?
It depends on what kind of pots you want. First you need a wedged block of clay. You can either cut the block and make one 2 inch thick sheet and then one large 1 inch thick sheet, cut a circle for the base from the 2-inch and then attach the 1-inch thick sheet to the base and shape it that way (scorch it with a fork and clay-paste) OR You could take a block, cut a piece off and roll it out for a base and cut out the base, and take the remainder of the block and put it in an extruder to create coils. Then, scorching between each coil, layer the coils and use a cut piece of cardboard with a curve to help you shape it and smooth it out. Then, let it sit wrapped until leather hard. Unwrap it and let it sit for a few more days, and then put it in a kiln (different times for different clay types).
