For $2.50 buy a Zip-it Tool a Home Depot. It works great in bathroom sinks and shower drains. I've seen it sold with a can of drain cleaner also but I don't think it's necessary. For your kitchen sink I use a plunger I bought at Harbor Freight. It has 2 interchangeable tips: 1 for the toilet and the other for the sink. It is a yellow cylinder with a plunger handle that sucks the standing sink water into the cylinder and then you rapidly plunge down on the handle causing a massive jet of water to gush down your drain and force whatever debris are clogging the drain to loosen and allow for proper drainage. If that doesn't work, you're going to need 'The Smell-Good Plumber' not Bubba.
