There is no single vent pipe on a septic and well. ( -Or if there is, someone has made a colossal and dangerous error. ) - If the vent on your septic is clogged, then your tank is way past it's time to be pumped out, and that MUST happen before you clean the vent.

How can you reduce type B vent from 6 in to 4 in?

If you mean the appliance has a 4 in. vent and you are trying to go to a 6 in. vent then yes you can but is it safe? It can be but you need to be sure. If the flue gas cools to much in the larger pipe then, first the water vapor (which is acidic) will condensate, then if the gas cools enough it will fall back down the pipe which will fill your house with poison gas (carbon monoxide). The other way, going from a 6 in. appliance vent to a 4 in. flue pipe is illegal because of the back pressure. Again this is a sure fire way to kill your family. Read all you can and talk to people that make vent pipe. Just do an Internet search for "type b" vent pipe. Another thing, buy a carbon monoxide monitor. The cost is less then $50 for a good one and it could very well save your families life.

Can the very top of the main vent stack be pitched on a 45 degree angle on the roof so as to prevent water and critters to fall down there or could it be possibly be capped with a top-hat.?

This is possible, but not practical and not needed. More joints equal more problems, because it will be exposed to all the weather elements, the life of the pipe and fittings are reduced, and you dont want bends at the top because eventually, the bend may very well break and when this happens, you dont want the smell drifting around your property. Best solution to the answer, keep the pipe straight and in an upward direction and install a two way vent valve cap. This not only allows the sewer pipe to breath (vent) properly because it keeps the atmospheric pressure inside the sewer line stable of where you live, but also keeps water and critters out as it is a concealed unit.

How much does well drilling pipe weigh?

Steel pipe varies in weight according to size and thickness (schedule).

What is casing pipe?

Is something wrong when the toilet gurgles when the bathtub is draining when you are on a well and septic system?

When a basin drains and causes gurgling sounds in other basins -- or the toilet, in this case -- it is usually a sign that a vent pipe is clogged or obstructed. The air being displaced in the drain pipe of the bathtub has nowhere to go if the vent is clogged and is being forced up through other drain pipes.

How do you drain the fuel tank on a 1985 Cadillac sedan deville?

You cannot, because of the screen blocking the fuel tank filler pipe, siphon the fuel via the filler pipe. However, there is no screen on the filler vent pipe. Remove the vent line hose at the tank, check the inside diameter of the vent pipe. Go to a building supply store buy four feet of so of clear plastic tubing, 3/8 inch outside diameter should do it, but check first. Insert plastic tube via the vent pipe into the tank and start the siphon. Worked very well for me and I removed nearly 17 gallons in less than 45 minutes.

Why did water come up from the ground when a truck drove over your lawn?

Probably busted water line, sewer pipe, or septic tank. Then again it might be a natural source, like an Artesian well, but the odds of that are slim.

How many turns in a dwv vent before it is ineffective?

well endless unless you make it turn 50 times but because air travels threw the turns with relativity minimum restriction and the upc code book has a maximum length for each size of vent pipe and if you make it one pipe size bigger it then it has no limit of length before exiting out of a building.Venting is based on developed length of pipe and fittings BUT unlike water, friction losses are not calculated in.As long as the vent grades up away from the fixtures trap it serves you will not have a problem and ((where you have a possible condensate situation you may have to install a drip leg (behind) the trap of the fixture))

How do you size the vent pipe in terms of total quantity of fixtures?

Well the UPC (uniform plumbing code) has the information but your drain line going outside the building and your vent line going outside the roof has to meet the same square inches. So if you have a main dran line that is 4" running outside the building then your must have enough square inches of pipe going threw the roof in example ( you would need four 2" vent pipes to equal one 4" pipe). Trailer homes don't follow the code and they go by the AWC (almost works code)

Where does water come from when you have a septic system?

If you have a septic system, you are generally outside the city limits. So your water is probably not city water, it's well water from your own or a shared well.

Where would you place a well in respect to a septic system so not to contaminate the well water?

A well should be located uphill and at least 100 feet away horizontally from a septic system to minimize the risk of contamination. Additionally, the well should be situated in a direction where groundwater flow is away from the septic system to further reduce the potential for contamination. Consulting a professional for site-specific recommendations is recommended.

How do I find my septic tank and determine its location on my property?

To find your septic tank and determine its location on your property, you can start by checking your property's "as-built" or septic system design plans, which may indicate the tank's location. You can also look for signs like a raised mound or depressions in the ground, as well as follow the sewer pipe from your house to locate the tank. If you're still unsure, consider hiring a professional to use specialized equipment like a probe or camera to locate the tank accurately.

Minimum distance between septic tank and well?

50 ft from the tank.

When and why you would want to do septic tank pumping.?

A septic tank needs to be pumped when full or before a big get together at your house. Also you need to clean up the septic from back up. Using things sucks as Rid X can help you as well.

How close can you put a water well to a septic system?

50 ft. minimum for most common types of septic systems. Other conditions may exist where well may need to be further away than 50 ft.
