Oh yeah. So reactive, in fact, that bromine rarely exists by itself in nature; only locked up in a compound. Bromine is a halogen, group 17, and those are the most reactive of all the non-metals.

Why reactive power is named as reactive?

Actually reactive power is a power which flows in between load to source which is a reactive action of the power given from source to load.the given power to load will not be utilised fully.some power will be oscillating from load to source.this is called reactive power.

Is Br or As a more reactive nonmetal?

Bromine (Br) is more reactive than arsenic (As) as a nonmetal because bromine belongs to the halogen group, which are highly reactive nonmetals. Arsenic, on the other hand, is a metalloid and exhibits less reactivity compared to the halogens.

What is the least reactive non metal out of CI I F Br?

The least reactive is bromine.

Which is more reactive At or Br?

Fluorine (F) is more reactive than both Astatine (At) and Bromine (Br) due to its higher electronegativity and smaller atomic size. Astatine is more reactive than bromine due to its lower electronegativity and larger atomic size.

Which one on the periodic table of At and Br is more reactive?

The one that is the farthest to the left and the farthest down.

What is the family that contains very reactive elements such as F Cl BR I?

We call them halogens.they are in the 17th group.

What elements would form anions most easily?

Halogens are very reactive: F, Cl, Br, I.

What group of nonmetals is most reactive in the periodic table?

The halogens, group 17, F, Cl, Br, I

Which symbol is more of the reactive element in each pair f or br?

Fluorine (F) is more reactive than bromine (Br). This increased reactivity is due to fluorine's smaller atomic size and higher electronegativity, allowing it to attract electrons more effectively. As a result, fluorine readily participates in chemical reactions, making it the most reactive element in the halogen group.

Which is more reactive Br Se or Cl?

Bromine (Br) is more reactive than chlorine (Cl) and selenium (Se). Bromine has a lower ionization energy and a larger atomic radius compared to chlorine and selenium, making it more willing to participate in chemical reactions.

Is Br or At a more reactive nonmetal?

Bromine would likely be more reactive. Little is known about the chemical properties of astatine because it is very rare and has a short half-life.

Which chemical does not have chemical properties similar to Br?

Helium does not have chemical properties similar to Br (bromine). Helium is a noble gas and is chemically inert, while bromine is a reactive nonmetal.

Where are the most chemically reactive nonmetals on the periodic table?

The most chemically nonmetals are on group 7 of the peridic table e.g:F,CL,BR,I
