Aerospace Engineering deals with the design, construction and science of aircraft and spacecraft. Aerospace Engineering is broken down into aeronautical engineering and astronautical engineering. Aeronautical Engineering is the science behind building aircraft within the earth's atmosphere and Astronomical Engineering is the science behind building spacecraft to go beyond earth's atmosphere.

Aerospace is an area of technology and science which include atmospheric and space travel whereas Aeronautical is an area of technology and science which focus on specific atmospheric craft. Vishalketu Gajjar
An aerospace engineer and an aeronautical engineer are mostly taught the same curriculum at the university but certain differences in courses do exist. Like courses like space propulsion, orbital mechanics, attitude determination and control systems, satellite and space systems are not part of aeronautical engineering curriculum. Furthermore, aeronautical engineering is also more closely related to aviation.
Aircraft Engineering is usually meant for the manufacturing of aircraft.
Aeronautical Engineering is for the creation of new 'in air' flying machines.
Aerospace Engineering is for the creation of 'in air' as well as 'in thin air' and space flying machines.
Mechanical engineering is the study and application of how things (solid, fluid, heat) move and interact. Aeronautical engineering studies the same field of theory, but focuses the application side on topics relevant to aeronautics (things that fly).
For many colleges, this is just a difference in the name of the degree. Their courses and electives are mostly the same.
Technical Writing is used in several different occupational fields. Some of those fields are Aeronautics, Chemistry, Robotics, Computer Hardware and Software, Astronautics and Consumer Electronics. Technical Writing is a form of Technical Communication.
