Concrete used as a profile course as blinding concrete
Invented in 1964 by a man named Daniel Brady.
All concrete need curing, since blinding is not structural concrete and treated as leveling course only, duration of curing may reduced. There is no specific period mentioned in relevant standard for curing of blinding.
To take levels for concrete blinding, first establish a reference point, such as a benchmark or a string line, at the desired finished floor level. Use a leveling instrument, like a laser level or a spirit level, to measure and mark the height of the concrete blinding on the formwork. Ensure that the formwork is properly aligned and adjusted to achieve a uniform thickness. Finally, double-check the levels across the entire area to confirm consistency before pouring the concrete.

Blinding in construction refers to a layer of material, typically concrete or a similar substance, that is laid on top of the subgrade before the main structural elements are built. Its primary purpose is to create a smooth, level surface for subsequent construction activities, such as laying foundations or flooring. Blinding also helps protect the underlying soil from moisture and contamination, ensuring a stable base for the structure. Additionally, it can serve as a barrier to prevent the upward migration of soil particles into the concrete.
Mass concrete is concrete cast without Rebars. They are good in compression and are mostly used for the construction of gravity structures such as Dams. While reinforced concrete have reinforcement bars in them, which increases the tensile strenght of the concrete.

This does not mean they are blind. Or making people blind for that matter. Blinding means something is awesome or something is big, depending on the context. For example: 'This is a blinding painting!' Or: 'I have a blinding headache!'

"Blinding" means "depriving somebody of sight".

"It's blinding."
