What is minimal voltage criteria for LVH may be normal variant?

Pulmonary disease pattern

What does the medical abbreviation LVH mean?

Left Ventricular Hypertrophy

Can you have surgery with LVH abnormality?

Yes, you can have surgery with left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) abnormality, but several factors must be considered. The severity of the LVH, the underlying cause, and the overall cardiac function are critical in determining surgical risk. A thorough preoperative evaluation by a cardiologist is essential to assess the patient's cardiovascular status and ensure appropriate management during and after the procedure. Depending on these factors, additional precautions or interventions may be necessary to minimize potential complications.

Why is high blood pressure the leading cause to LVH?

Because the leading cause to lvh is pathological hypertrophy and theleading cause to that is high blood pressure. when you have high blood pressure your heart beats harder to counteract the pressure, and seeing how many Americans today are either obese or overwieght high blood pressure is in no way rare.

Is Lvh with repolarization abnormality dangerous?

LVH (left ventricular hypertrophy) is represented by classic EKG findings, namely that the sum of V1Q and V5R > 35 mm (ie: a very deep Q wave in V1 and a very tall R wave in V5). Further, you will expect to find left axis deviation as represented by tall R waves in both lead II and aVL. LVH is one of many conditions (including bundle branch blocks) that can also have repolarization abnormalities. Simply put, a repolarization abnormality is shown on EKG with a T wave going the opposite direction as the main direction of the QRS. Recall, normally these will be in the same direction despite the fact that the QRS is ventricular depolarization and the T wave is ventricular repolarization, because they occur in opposite directions.

What is the difference between Left Ventricular Hypertrophy and Left Ventricular Dysfunction?

LVH (Left Ventricular Hypertrophy) is (anatomical) structural condition and status of the heart, while Left Ventricular Dysfunction is disturbance in physiological functions and status of heart.

Is 132 over 64 a good blood pressure for a 54 year old female?

Your diastolic BP is great, however your systolic is a bit elevated. Also your pulse pressure (stroke volume) is much higher than the suggested 40mg. You want your pulse pressure to be lower to avoid coronary artery disease. Check with your doctor and have an ECG performed to rule out LVH.

What are the effects on your heart muscle when you exercise regularly?

Your heart responds to the respiratory demands of the exercising body by increasing the rate of blood pumping. That is why the pulse increases during exercise. As the heart is itself comprised primarily of muscle tissue, the heart participates in the exercise too, and over time becomes stronger and somewhat larger.

What is the Lewis structure of CH2ClCOO?

The Lewis dot structure starts with two singly bonded C atoms. On the left hand side C are three singly bonded H atoms. On the right C, there is a doubly bonded O atom to the top and a singly bonded O atom to the right. The upper O has two pairs of dots and the right has three pairs of dots.

What is the meaning of having a cold tingling sensation on the right side of the neck?

I don't have an answer to this question yet but just want to let others know they are not crazy i have it too for about 12 hours now it feels like a drop cold water drop on my neck and run down about an inch and half or so. These are my sequence of symptoms i am wondering if they are all related. For about 6 months I have been having shortness of breath on and off and especially when i lay on my back for more than a minute. About 3months ago i did an ECG that said regular rhythm and possible LVH. My BP is high occasionally and my pulse rate is always high but the doc has not put me on any meds even though i have a super strong family history. (I have decided to go to another doc for another opinion) Two days ago about 5:30pm I started to feel really nauseated with a funny weak feeling. I went to bed about 10:30 woke up 1am because of the shortness of breath and didn't get back to sleep at all. Didn't do any thing hectic following morning. Just Internet and TV. and about 4pm had a sharp pain exactly in the very centre of by chest (between breast). It lasted about 5 mins. then happened on and off about 3 times for about an hour. Since then there is a dull tender feeling there and the tingling on the right side of my neck started I also have arthritis mild RA for about 10yrs and osteo Arthritis diagnosed about 2 yrs. Other than the usual pain tho i am fine with those. But for about a year now when i move my head my neck crunches. I just say all of this because the tingling is on neck don't know if related to that.
