Sorry about my approximativ english.
We use the term of "monopulse antenna" for an antenna dedicated to track a moving target thanks to a so called monopulse system. The principle of a monopulse system is based on the creation of a tracking signal inside the feed of the antenna which has the particularity to have a null amplitude when idealy pointed to the target and to have an increasing amplitude when depointed from the target. The more the antenna is depointed the bigger is the amplitude (around the pointed direction). A monopulse system tries continuously to cancel the amplitude of this signal. That will mean the antenna remains idealy pointed to the target. This system has really good tracking performances (when it is properly tuned) compared to more simple system like Step-Track system which just tries to maximize the fundamental signal received from the target. I am not sure I was clear.
an antenna that is able to be formed, or bent
You can replace an XM radio antenna with a CB antenna, a ham 40-meter mobile antenna, a cellphone antenna, a GPS antenna, a TV antenna, a wire coat hanger, a 6 GHz microwave antenna, or a chain of paperclips. However, since none of them is optimized to operate at the frequencies of XM radio, like the XM antenna is, none of the others will work as well. Most of them will likely be so inefficient at the satellite radio frequencies that when you use one of those, you hear nothing at all on your radio.
microstip patch array antenna is basically ,thecollection of antenna that give the double directive gain
yes
The power of the signal, as perceived by the receiver, will be lower with an omnidirectional antenna. This is because the omnidirectional antenna is transmitting in all directions, while the directional antenna is transmitting in only one direction.Think of the directional antenna as a lens, focusing proportionally more power in a smaller space.

You may have a Ham radio antenna anywhere in the US, unless there are restrictions as to its placement, such as in a condo or apartment. If you meant a Ham radio transmitter, then you must have a Ham license to operate it.
