The pyloric pump is a muscular valve located between the stomach and the small intestine, specifically at the junction of the pylorus of the stomach and the duodenum of the small intestine. Its main function is to regulate the flow of partially digested food from the stomach into the small intestine. The pyloric pump contracts and relaxes to control the release of chyme (partially digested food) into the small intestine for further digestion and absorption. Dysfunction of the pyloric pump can lead to issues such as gastroparesis or delayed gastric emptying.
pump eff. = (pump dynamic head x pump flow)/(pump h.p x 3960)flow=gallon per minute

what is th different between end suction pump and singl stage pump and multistage pump
A foot valve, in relation to a water well, is a check valve at he bottom of a well to keep the water from running back into the well from the pump when the pump is not running. If the check valve does not hold the water the pump will lose it's prime and will not pump water.
Because the centrifugal pump cannot pump air due to its loose tolerances, the positive displacement pump is needed to create the vacuum.
The pyloric pump of the stomach empties what's inside the stomach into the duodenum. The pump is activated when the stomach distends. The pump is inhibited when there's acid inside the duodenum. The pump is also inhibited if there are substances difficult tot digest inside the duodenum.
Pyloric stenosis is also referred to as hypertrophic pyloric stenosis
The pyloric sphincter, or valve, is a strong ring of smooth muscle at the end of the pyloric canal and lets food pass from the stomach to the duodenum. It receives sympathetic innervation from celiac ganglion. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pylorus

Pylororrhaphy is the medical term meaning suture of the pyloric valve. A related term, pyloroplasty, means surgical repair of the pyloric valve.

pyloric part ( pyloric antrum and pyloric sphincter)
The Pyloric valve.
The stomach and first part of the small intestine (duodenum) is connected by pylorus which has 2 parts. The on the stomach opening is called pyloric antrum and the opening in the duodenum is the pyloric canal type.
The ring like muscle that controls the flow from the stomach to the small intestine is called the pylorus or the pyloric sphincter. It is divided into two parts: the pyloric antrum which is connected to the body of the stomach and the pyloric canal which is connected to the beginning of the small intestine (the duodenum).
The pyloric sphincter regulates passage of chyme from the stomach.
The vagus nerve controls the pyloric valve. It helps regulate the passage of food from the stomach to the small intestine by controlling the muscular movement of the pyloric valve.
