the reason for brushes is to makethe motor revolve. The more brushes probably make a more powerful starter motor

Cold climate starters are capable of delivering higher current during cold start. Cold start system is always a combination of the starter motor with a suitable battery.
The starter motor is at the rear of the engine.
You never need a starter for a three-phase motor.
two windings on the stator
Motor started will have overloads the contactor connect es line voltage.
Starter motor.
The starter in a car is an electric motor that turns the gasoline engine. It has a rod of material (usually carbon) that carries electricity from the non-moving part of the motor to the moving part, and the rod 'brushes" against the moving part. That rod IS the "brush". PS- the rod wears away, and may need to be replaced n an older starter.
On my 1995 Ford Explorer , as far as I know , the starter solenoid is mounted on the starter and the starter relay ( which most people just refer to as the solenoid ) is mounted near my battery and has the positive battery cable connected to it ( a relay is a low voltage switch ) P.S. I'm not a mechanic / technician
disconnect battery. from underneath disconnect solenoid wire and battery cable from starter solenoid. remove starter motor bolts. remove starter motor. installation is the reverse but be sure to place the starter shim between the starter motor and the engine or you will get noise during starts.
I think it's depending on the vehicle, there may be a spacer between the starter and the motor. There may be a shield between the starter and the transmission housing if your starter is bolted to the transmission.
There is no difference between the term "motor ship" and the term "motor vessel." The two are commonly used interchangeably.
between motor and catalytic
Its a starter that has a set of gears between the motor and the starter pinion which allows higher-speed, lower-current, lighter and more compact motor assembly while increasing cranking torque.
difference of motor and marine insurance
The starter on the Honda Accord is located in the front of the vehicle. The Honda's motor sits sideways inside the engine compartment. The starter is between the front of the car and the motor.
