Line break Character
You can make a break in the line in HTML by placing in BR tag. It moves whatever is being written to the next line.
A html line break is used to break up two sentences but it does not break up paragraphs, it just moves the next sentence that you are going to write onto the next line therefore "breaking" it up.
in case of interpreter line by line checking is done, i.e. the interpreter takes each line of the program and checks it and if there is any syntactical error , it lists the error and goes to the next line after the programmer rectifies the error= in case of compiler , the whole program is checked at once and if there is any error , they are enlisted and has to be rectified by the programmer.=
it has specified areas for the data. For example, boxes for input of coded material like the date or the sex of the customer, and areas to be filled in with textual information.it has a cursor which moves to the next box to be filled in, sometimes the box is highlighted to make it clear to the operator where the data is to be inserted.some of the boxes are more important than others and the cursor will not move on until some data has been supplied.it checks that what has been input is sensible for that box before moving on to the text.

Word wrapWhen the text you're typing gets to the end of the line, the cursor wraps to the next line. It places the text below on the page instead of allowing the words to continue on beyond the right margin.
The key that moves the cursor down the page to begin a new line is the "Enter" key. When pressed, it creates a line break in text documents or input fields, allowing you to start typing on the next line. In some applications, holding the "Shift" key while pressing "Enter" will create a line break without starting a new paragraph.
It stands for carriage return/line feed. The names are a holdover from typewriter days. They are two control codes in ASCII (American Standard Code for Information Interchange); cr returns the cursor to the beginning of the line, lf moves the cursor down to the next line.
