Short answer - No. With our current level of technology and progress in the field of Artificial Intelligence there are no computers that can program themselves. However, depending on what you mean by "programme", there are lots of devices that can configure themselves using computer technology. However, even here this is ultimately due to "hard coded" behavior in the circuitry of these devices which is essentially a form of programming from a hardware perspective, which also originated from an external source (people). Of course you could also argue that people can't really "program" themselves either. If you stay strictly within the bounds of the physical realm (not accounting for metaphysical/spiritual aspects) people and by proxy their actions are also a result of causal laws. In this context, we are only a product of our Biology and our environment, so in that regard we are no different then a organic computer. Of course, this is not accounting for any metaphysical or spiritual elements, which could significantly change the model of human behavior to be different from that of a computer's behavior. Well, the basic input/output system (BIOS) on a computer is a simple yet important program on a personal computer (PC) that helps the computer properly boot and run an operating system (OS) during startup. BIOS drivers are typically used in reference to the program itself, and how the program runs and interacts with other devices on the computer. The BIOS drivers on a computer are saved on a small battery located on the motherboard and allow for the proper initialization and startup of a computer when powered on. In computing, a device driver or software driver is a computer program allowing higher-level computer programs to interact with a hardware device.
You need to find out what exactly it's missing. Usually it's a dll, which was not included in the program itself. But you have it installed on your computer.
It is a virus called Mal-ware (Malicious Software) and is programmed to destroy critical files on a computer, these viruses to be undetected will travel in a Trojan Horse that will transport viruses in and out of the computer system.
Google is not a program, it is a search engine. It is freely accessible from the internet using a browser of your choice. Just type Google in the address bar or select it from the search engines available in the browser itself. for more information, look up 'search engine' in your browser's online help (F1 key).
A specific pattern of virus codeAccording to printon.edu, a virus is" a software program capable of reproducing itself and usually capable of causing great harm to files or other programs on the same computer; "a true virus cannot spread to another computer without human assistance""

DNA is the only living substance capable of reproducing itself exactly through the process of DNA replication. This ensures that genetic information is faithfully passed on from one generation to the next without significant changes.

The IP address is for your computer just like your home address is for you. It is not capable of doing nothing by itself. On the other hand, it is used to let your computer exchange information with other computers, like you can do by ordinary mail: you send a message, and you write on the envelope the address where you want to receive replies. The IP address is thus used by any program that is designed to send and/or receive information (your mail program, the web browser and, unfortunately, worms and viruses). So the answer is: the IP address itself is not capable of sending anything to anyone, but programs can. It is up to you to use only the program you want, and to prevent unwanted programs (viruses) to install on your computer.
