SS cutting is very much possible with flame or gas cutting. However it is not recommended as Stainless steel is usually used in applications where you need corrosion resistance.

The high temperature in flame cutting is bound to cause oxidation in the boundaries and render it unfit for aesthetic or corrosion resistant application.
