However, this does not give them a common culture or a common history and Africa is far more determined by the tribal structure than based on skin color. The only large non-black populations in Africa are the Amazigh & Arab populations to the north of the Sahara (which accounts for nearly 150 Million people) and the Afrikaaners, Boers, and White Settlers sprinkled throughout the continent, but most concentrated in South Africa. These White Africans make up something close to 20 Million individuals. Africa has in total 1.02 Billion People.
