Communication is vital in this confused world and is the cause of most global controversy. An effective communicator asks questions in order to seek understanding. The key is to view issues from different perspectives. Put yourself in the shoes of the other and ask yourself what you would do if you were him/her?
After asking questions, it is equally important to listen. Give the person time to communicate and express his/her thoughts. As you do, you will understand more clearly what he/she is feeling.
Lastly, express love and concern to that person (if appropriate, of course) and share with him/her that you want to help. Instead of annoying them with the question, "What can I do to help?", share your thoughts on how you can help. Then follow through.

It's correct that some people born with great communication skills. The prophets of God and some great people are the best examples of this statement. But habitually the people have to become the great communicator. They have to seek knowledge and communication abilities to become attractive and good communicator. A person who is not a confident speaker or communicator can become great communicator after practicing and learning the communication proficiency. Abraham Lincoln belonged to a very poor family and didn't know reading and writing but after the age of ten, he started study and become a greatest and confident communicator. His communication ability has enabled him to become the president of America. So we can say that some people born great communicator but the majority have to become great communicator. I disagree that Obama is an excellent communicator. What I see and hear when he speaks through the media is a person who is a somewhat skilled reader with a trained voice but fails miserably as an audience mesmerizing extemporaneous speaker. When he speaks without his teleprompters it is obvious that he gets lost in thought and, consequently, stutters a lot.
