1. Select the text you want by holding down the left mouse-button, then move the mosue across the text.
2.Then there are two options.
Either you right-click the selected text and choose "copy", or you press Ctrl + C.
3. Two options again.
Right-click on the text-field where you want to paste the copied text and select "paste.
Or you can just click on the text-field and press Ctrl + V.

If it is not text, you might not be able to copy it, but if it is for instance a picture from Google, you can paste it too, you put the mouse cursor over the picture right click and then click copy, OR you can press Ctrl+C . And you do the similar procedure as you do for the text .
