How do you do the zipper on lanyard?

What you will need:

2 short pieces of gimp

1 long piece of gimp

What to do:

• Put the three pieces of gimp next to each other like so: lll < A,B,&C
• Tie the end where the strings all meet evenly into a knot
• Take the short pieces and place them next to each other; holding the long piece aside: ll \
• With the long piece of gimp (C) , go over the closest short piece(B): lt'
• Take C and go under A: -lt'
• Flip C and do the same; C over A under B
• Flip C and do; over B under A

and after several stiches you get a zipper like effect
