Being a teenager is officially "a person in his/her teens". But if you actually are one then it means mood swings and hard times. Spots and growth. Voice changes and facial changes... Teen years are the best but they aren't easy... Have you never been one? 8)

The teenage years, naturally, are years of questioning and rebellion. But also for learning and exploration. I think many would find it difficult to produce a generalization about teenagers, as the main tenet for being as teenager is to be an individual. For many of us, the teen years are a time when people are maturing and really developing their personalities. It can be a period of exploration for many; finding themselves, their vocation, etc. Many explore positive aspects of life, like literature and academics. So many teenagers embrace reading and writing to convey their thoughts and ideas...to 'express' themselves. The benefits of personal discovery can be limitless. Unfortunately, many imbrace the negative side of this, illict narcotics and drugs. This is a time in ones life when the urge to use tobacco, drugs, and alchohol is at the highest. Nowadays, it almost seems as if it is a 'normal' thing to do. As many will not realize, that is the first step to a lifetime of suffering.
These days, teenagers do not have it easy, by any means. The pressure of school is for some, unbearable, but for other enjoyable. This, coupled with the advent of social networking, creates a unique situation. We see nowadays the essential loss of privacy, and 'need' of publicity.
In summaration, I believe it is difficult to generalize this age group. But when trying, terms like 'individuality', 'uncertainty', 'exploration', 'maturity', 'friendship', 'freedom', and 'change' come to mind.

i would say it would be easier to be the parent of a teenager, because some parents would just leave their kids to do what they want, and have brought them up to be responsible enough to know what is right and what is wrong. teenager because if ur a parent it would be sad 2 leave your kid,:(
Yes.justin bieber is 17 witch would make him a teenager
No, otherwise every teenager in the world would have a police record.
It probably depends on the teenager and the child, but in most cases, they probably could. A teenager could help a child with his/her homework and explain concepts. This would be beneficial to both of them. The child would do better in school. The teenager would get that nice feeling. It is also shown that teaching someone reinforces the information in their own brain, so the teenager will remember the information better.
