Bullying and racism are a part of tolerance

Bulling is another part of tolerance. A documentary of bulling talks about student's ordeal at the hands of anti-gay bullies and offers an inspiring message of hope to those fighting harassment today. It can become a cornerstone of anti-bullying efforts in middle and high schools. It typically involves subtle methods of coercion such as intimidation.

Bullying ranges from simple one on one bullying to more complex bullying in which the bully may have one or more lieutenants who may seem to be willing to assist the primary bully in his bullying activities. Bullying in school and the workplace is also referred to as peer abuse.

Racism- A black man in To Kill a Mockingbird was killed because of his color. The people who blamed him were being racist because of how he looks, and blamed him that he did something that he didn't do. The jury in the courtroom convict Tom Robinson for rape although they know he is innocent.

The jury won't take a black man's word over a white man's. Racism is a part of tolerance and happens a lot. Racism involves the belief in racial differences, which acts as a justification for non-equal treatment which some regard as discrimination of members of that race.

All around the world there are more and more groups of people from various religions who are coming together to learn about each other's beliefs. Some of these groups are large, such as the first World Parliament of Religions held in conjunction with the Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893. Most are much smaller local inter-faith councils and gatherings.

One thing being learned is that the followers of must religions have adapted, interpreted and sometimes distorted the words of their founders. Those changes have been the cause of more conflict than the Sacred Texts.

The followers of only one religion are specifically instructed to: "Consort with the followers of all religions," and that is the Bahai Faith. Subsequently members of the Bahai Faith are involved in many inter-faith activities.
