Right the Harry Potter series is NOT just for boys! Whenever you say that you are lying, because the books are excellent reads for BOTH boys and girls. Some other good books are Blood sinister, Abomination, Holes, Ravens gate, Weather witch, The Hobbit which is old fashioned but good when you are a few pages in, the Jiggy Mcue series, Private peaceful, Adolphus tips. I have also heard that The diary of a wimpy kid books are really good and Amazon.co.uk sell them fairly cheap, there isn't one person that has rated these books below five stars. Also the chocolate lovers club are good reads but they are quite grown up and not really for male book enthusiasts.
