Agamemnon is a very proud and authoritative character but he can also be very uncaring, uncompromising, and unreasonable. He shows that he is rude, arrogant, and he CONSTANTLY needs advice from his council. You could say that he is trapped in a role greater than his ability. But he is very devoted to his brother Menelaus. He is very flawed and he succumbs to his own desires before those of his soldiers. He is a very stubborn man who can sometimes be immature and a coward.

According to some versions of the story Achilles was invulnerable all over except for a small spot on his heel where his mother Thetis held him while she dipped her baby into the Styx to toughen his skin.

He was a fierce and courageous warrior who slaughtered many opponents. He raped boys, got in a petty huff when King Agamemnon stole his girlfriend, and refused to fight - until his friend and lover Petrocolus became so ashamed that he stole Achilles' armour and went into battle pretending to be Achilles. He was killed, which brought Achilles back into furious action, where he killed a Trojan leader and proved his manhood by dragging his body around the walls of Troy. Persian prince Paris laid him out with an arrow, ending his brutal and immoral life.

He is undoubtedly brave, but very arrogant and conceited. He is also very moody and sulky, staying in his tent because the King has pinched his slave girl.

Is achilleus from the enemy gay?

In "The Enemy" by Pearl S. Buck, the character Achilleus is portrayed as having a close friendship with his childhood friend Hwang Ch'ao. While their relationship can be interpreted as deeply affectionate, there is no explicit indication in the story that Achilleus is gay. The emphasis in the story is more on the bond between the two characters rather than their sexual orientation.
