con: Anyone can enter anything they want, no matter if it is true/accurrate information. So you are dealing with an unreliable research source. Bad for writing important essays or papers. If a student cites wikipedia in their essay/paper, hopefully they are in middle school or under. or maybe they have a very lenient teacher. Pro: If you are just looking up some random quick information (ie a name, title, date, small fact, etc) that is somewhat unusual or rare, wikipedia can be useful because it includes so many different subjects and materials. Like an encycloPEDIA. lol. or you can ask odd questions like this for fun.

∙ 15y agoThere are many pros and cons of YouTube. But I can only put one of each. One pro of Youtube is that ordinary people can be discovered on the website by Hollywood scouts. Another pro (wait, I can name two!) is that ordinary and famous people can share their personal lives on the internet. A con of Youtube is that there are some weird people out there that put un-appropriate videos on Youtube (sorry if I sound like your mom). Another con is that Youtube doesn't really moniter what other people put on their website. So, if something scary or bad is under a name like Hannah Montana, the video poster gets away with it and doesn't get banned from the site. Hope that helps with wherever your debating! :0)
