Unlike the Chilean term Roto, in English Roto is used to modify other words to indicate rotation.

For example, Rototiller is a self-propelled cultivator that tills the earth with rotating tines. So in this case it means to rotate.

In another case there is a company the cleans the roots out of drain pipes underground using a long flexable shaft with an attached cutting blade, they attach the shaft to a motor that makes it rotate and cut the clogging roots. This company is called RotoRooter.
