In 'The Kite Flyer,' Amir is afraid to be Hassan's true friend because he has bought into the religious and classicist caste system in Afghanistan. Hassan is from a much lower social caste, and people of this caste are considered to be unworthy. As a result, although he likes Hassan, he doesn't possess the strength of character required to be his friend.
In loving memory of Amir Bhai. We will miss you. Or In loving memory of Amir Bhai. We will miss you so much. Or In loving memory of Amir Bhai; we miss you so much.
the two main ones i know are the slingshot and the kite. the slingshot represents security and power. when assef threatens amir and hassan, Hassan uses his slingshot to scare assef away. in the second example which occurs at the end, Sohrab, Hassan's son, takes a shot at assef when he wouldn't stop beating amir. Sohrab blinds him in order to protect Amir. The kite mostly represents escapism. During the kite competition, amir forgets about his father and the way he is treated; he focuses only on kite flying. On the other hand, when Hassan decides to run the last kite that was cut by Amir for him, he bumps into Assef, who demands that he should either hand over the kite or get beaten up. Hassan, refuses out of pride and loyalty to his friend. Therefore, he is first beaten by Assef and his two friends, and then Assef rapes him.

Three character traits for Amir from the book Seedfolks are compassionate, helpful, and determined.
Amir becomes involved in the community garden project in "Seedfolks" as a way to honor the memory of his deceased uncle. He sees the garden as a way to connect with his heritage and bring the community together in a positive way. Through his involvement, Amir also finds healing and solace.
In the book "Seedfolks" by Paul Fleischman, the characters who planted in the empty lot were a diverse group of people from the community. Each character had their own personal reasons for planting and nurturing the garden, creating a sense of unity and transformation in their neighborhood.

Amir planted an apple tree in the vacant lot to honor his uncle who had passed away. He hoped that the tree would provide shade and delicious fruit for the community to enjoy.
Assef is the character who beats up Amir in the compound after Amir finds his nephew, Sohrab, in the novel "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini. Assef is a brutal and sadistic character who has a history of violence towards Amir and Hassan.
The garden is important to Amir because it symbolizes his relationship with his father, Baba, and reflects his desire for approval and connection. It serves as a sanctuary where Amir grapples with his feelings of guilt and redemption, particularly in relation to his past actions towards Hassan. The garden also represents the potential for growth and healing, both personally and within his relationships, as he seeks to reconcile his past and create a better future.

Amir's mother is named Sofia Akrami in Khaled Hosseini's novel "The Kite Runner." She is portrayed as a strong and loving figure in Amir's life, although her character is not extensively developed in the story. Her influence and absence play a significant role in shaping Amir's experiences and relationships.
No, he is a major character and the one who the title is referring to. He is not "the main character" but he has an important role. Probably the 2:nd most important.
