There are a lot of false things out there on the internet but I had a project and one of the things we had to do was to find out what anthrop was. First of all, anthrop is a Greek root word. Anthrop means human. Three words with anthrop in them with the definition with anthrop in them are:
Anthropological-the scientific study of the origin, the behavior, and the physical, social, and cultural development of humans.
Anthropoid-Resembling a human in a ape-like form.
Misanthrope- a person who dislikes or distrust mankind.
Two other words are anthropology, and anthropomorphic.
Sorry! I didn't look up the last two definitions!
