In 2006, Lane Garrison, who played the character Tweener in "Prison Break", according to police reports, while driving his SUV which jumped a curb and crashed into a tree, causing the death of a 17-year-old boy and serious injuries on two other 15-year-old girls who were also in the SUV. Garrison was convicted in 2007 of vehicular manslaughter and sentenced to 40 months (3 years and 4 months). He received credit for the 90 days of incarceration pending trial was released after 22 months in prison. He then received 4 years of parole and ordered to pay $300,000 in restitution to the victims and their families. Garrison did not stage a prison break while serving his sentence.
