the word macadam is actually a last name. its really spelled MacAdam. the reason is because the name means, son of Adam its origin is also a name, MacGregor, but the name was made illegal by British Parliament strangely 192 years before my birthday. April 3 1998) the reason it was made illegal is because Scotland fought hard to keep its peace and treaty with Britain as long as its freedom. ( the weird thing is that the British were the ones who made the name illegal but they where Scotland's friend's the last name MacGregor was made illegal and MacGregors could not be married, or buried on church property, and be killed, and the killer not be punished to prevent death most MacGregors, changed there names to the son of Alpine ( high king of Scotland to which ever they were descended MacGregor often became MacAdam, because they were they were dependence of Adam, the oldest son, and the prince. if you think this information is false, then you are calling me a liar, and I am a MacAdam, so I should know!!! information supplied by: William MacAdam (or MacGregor lol)
