∙ 10y agoAngola. In Tarzan of the Apes, the origin novel, Jane writes a friend that they are located on the West African coast at approximately 10 degrees below the equator. This would place Tarzan's birth and the action in the novel in modern-day Angola, in the approximate area of present day Kissama National Park.
