1993 jaguar xj6 Tail lights turn on and off
What would cause your fuse to blow when you turn on your lights on your 1993 mazda 323 the fuse to the tail lights on dash lights blow?
short to ground check bulbs in tail, corrosion can do it
Look for a fuse labeled TAIL LIGHTS. There are 2 separate circuits, one for brake turn and flasher and the other is for tail lights.
No this isn't the reason why your tail lights don't work. Tail-lights and the turn signal are two different systems in the car: if your turn signal is broken that doesn't necessarily mean that your tail-light will be broken.
It could be a blown fuse. Tail lights and brake/turn are on separate fuses. Apparently there is not a ground problem since brake/turn works OK.
Turn Down the Lights was created in 1993.
Brake lights and turn signals are on a separate circuit from the tail lights. Tail lights are on the same circuit with the dashboard lights. If the dashboard lights aren't working either, check the fuse. If they ARE working, check the headlight switch.
