To open the trunk of a Jaguar S-Type, you can use the key fob by pressing the trunk release button, typically denoted by a trunk icon. Alternatively, you can unlock the car with the key or remote and then pull the trunk release lever located near the driver's seat. If the car is unlocked, you can also press the trunk lid. If the electronic release isn't working, you can manually open the trunk using the key.
