Could be a number of issues. Does it run at any speed? If one of the speeds work, but not all, it is the step resistor. If the fan doesn't run at all it could be a blown fuse. Check the fuse block and see if it's a blown fuse. Could be anything from a bad motor (frozen bushing or some kind of overload condition), to a pinched wire, to something that fell into the vent and hit the fan blade and froze the motor causing an overload condition leading to a blown fuse. Simply replacing the fuse may not necessarily correct for the condition.
