A display showing two wrenches on a vehicle means that the car is due for service. You should initiate contact with your car dealer.
Read the drivers hand book or car manual. It is easy to do.

usually means your car is due for a service.
If it's on th dash near the display on how many k's the car has done then it's notifying you that you've gone past a certain amount on k's on the clock and that your car need's a service. To turn it off, start the ignition on you car and hold in the trip meter button for about 15 secs, you should hear a beep and the wrench will turn off!
No of course not you must remove the whole tank from under the car!!
Press and hold the service wrench button with the ignition off. While still holding the button, turn your ignition to "on" (but don't start the car). Press the Min clock button and then release the wrench button. I found these steps work well: 1. Key in slot (no Accessory activated) 2. Hold "0.0" 3. Push key in to activate Accessories 4. Push "wrench" icon button 5. Release "0.0" 6. Start vehicle
it means that the car is due for service. a mechanic(certified) has the equipment to turn off the light. my car has run just fine for 60,000 miles with the light on
The 2007 VW Passat has a 'SERVICE NOW' message the triggers every 5k miles. This usually has to do with the oil change. You can reset it by doing the following. With the key sitting in the ignition but NOT on (not even accessories...the key is in in there but literally just about to fall out) push and hold the wrench button (on the dashboard). Count 5 seconds, start the car while still pushing the wrench button and then push the min button on your clock. You must be holding the wrench button and the min button at the same time to reset the service message. To test if you've reset properly, turn the car off and start it again. If you've reset properly the 'SERVICE NOW' will not appear and is automatically reset for 5k miles.
With the key in the 'off' position, hold down the wrench button. Turn the key to the 'on' position (while still holding the wrench). There are two buttons on the lower left side of the instrument cluster. Press the one the right. The MFI (Center display) will now say something like 'service now'. Turn the ignition to 'off', then start the car. The service indicator will be reset.
Turn the ignition switch to off, then press and hold the service wrench button. While still holding the button, turn your ignition to on without starting the car. Press the clock button marked "Min" and then release the wrench button.
