saloon is different from (coupe & convertible)
Only the front bumper is the same on all E36 models (coupe, Ti hatch, saloon, touring). The saloon, touring and Ti hatch have the same bonnet, guards and headlights too - coupe parts are longer so won't fit So you will be able to fit the Ti bumper to the coupe, but nothing else will fit
No the coupe and convertible share the same bonnet and front wings but the 4 door cars have a different bonnet/wings.....the grill holder (complete panel that goes under both headlights aswell) is the same on all models albeit with revised kidney shaped grill vents on later cars. Hope this answers your question
the front wheels have no bearings
a side from performance air filter and a bigger exhaist what else can be done to increase power on the e36? excluding chip
The overall suspension setup is very similar, however you will find that if you wish to interchange parts, the rear may fit but the front is completely different
Equivalent material e36
how do i fit new windows in the front & back of my 328I convertable E36
yes whit no problemos
The one with the "i" has an injection fuel system' where petrol is injected into the engine when its needed. Unless I am totally mistaken. Pilotx added 22/02/08 - Don't believe this is correct actually - The E36 line up had a 316e and a 316i model for a while in the UK. The 'e' model was only available in the 4d saloon and was mechanically the same as the 'i' model. The difference was the specification of the car as standard; The 'e' version was the most basic of all the E36 models with, I think, manual wind windows front and back - I can't remember what else it didn't have, maybe no central locking/abs? The 'i' model was pretty basic anyway, the SE improved things slightly with alloys, front fogs etc. Most other items were extras on all models except specials and of course M3. I am making the assumption that E316 is the same as 316e though. If not, then I have no idea what an E316 is! I tried though..... ;-)
i think e36 engines were from 1991 - 1999
If your 325i is m50 and the m3 head is m50 it will fit. Or if both is m52.
No. All BMWs since E36 have had timing chains and not belts and therefore do not need to be changed.
