Volvo 240s have a white fuel pump relay, part number 3523608, about 2.5" long, 2" wide, and 1" thick. They used the same relay from 1985 until the end of the run in 1993. It's the same relay as the 740 & 940 most years also. It has a date stamped on it & it should be replaced if the date is more than approximately 10 years ago even if it's still working.
