For halogen (non HID)

Remove the MAIN BEAM bulb covers.

Feel inside and there is a lever in each mainbeam light.

Move the lever up if its down or down if its up

This changes the aim of the dipped beam for continental driving

Look in your handbook for pics

Do you need to change head lights from right hand drive Renault megane for french control technique?

Yes, if you are driving a right-hand drive Renault Megane in France, you will need to adjust or change the headlights to comply with French regulations. This is necessary to prevent the headlights from blinding oncoming drivers, as the beam pattern differs between right-hand and left-hand drive vehicles. You can often achieve this adjustment by using headlight beam converters or swapping the headlight units entirely, depending on the specific model. Always check local regulations for the most accurate requirements.

How do you adjust the headlights on a 2003 passat for European driving Apparently there is a switch?

European Passats have a headlight leveling switch located to the left of the steering wheel (on Left Hand Drive cars). It's purpose is to provide the ability to adjust your headlights if you have a heavy load in the back of the car. If you are moving to England you need to replace your LHD headlights with Right Hand Drive headlights. There is also an aiming adjustment on the headlights themselves.
