OK........ Handbrake adjustment.

The handbrake is normally self adjusting So either the cable/s are stretched, or the pads are well worn, and you have no adjustment left.

5 clicks on lever when applying normal/moderate pressure = correct adjustment.

If not, then split apart handbrake lever trim, and remove. (Or break which ever happens first).

The plastic surround on the handbrake lever needs to be prised apart on the underneath seam as the top seam has interlaced parts that might break.

The floor/carpet panel is prized from the rear edge.

Unclip & remove carpet panel surrounding lever, you will then see the adjusting nut, bell crank & cables.

Chock front wheels, jack-up rear, AND SUPPORT SECURELY. Apply/ release handbrake 4 times. With lever set on 5th click, check that both rear wheels are locked. If not tighten adjustment nut until both wheels are locked.

Release handbrake, check that both wheels rotate.

Apply handbrake 5 clicks, check for locking - release, check for rotation.

If happy, reassemble.
