Where are the spark plugs located on a 1997 jetta gl
Changing spark plugs is pretty simple. Disconnect the battery, remove the wires to the spark plugs from their location, remove the old spark plugs, put in the new spark plugs, plug the cables to the right spark plug and reconnect the battery.
i dunno if it will help but i have a 93 gmc s15 jimmy and i go through the front fenderwells to change my plugs

spark plug replacement on a 93 Cadillac DeVille 4.9 liter

93 LS400 takes either NGK BKR6EP11, or Denso PK20R11 spark plugs with .043 gap.
I know how to replace the plugs, but what do you have to take off on the fairing to get to the plugs. Thanks steve
Yes ( the 2.3 liter in the Ford Ranger from 1989 to 1997 has 8 spark plugs ) and the 2.5 liter from 1998 to 2001 also has 8 spark plugs
Four NGK Iridium
I don't know about a 93, but my 94"s is located at the exhaust manifold, just below the spark plugs. You have to remove the wire first, then use the same type of socket you'd use to remove a spark plug.
From the top you will need to remove the wiper module and have a cold engine. You can also remove the plugs from under but you will need a lift and cold engine.
