The alignment pins on an 80 - 91 were in the body, and stuck up into an alignment slot in the top. On the 92 - 96, the alignment pins were in the top, and stuck down into an alignment slot in the body. If you put an 80 - 91 top on a 92+, there won't be any issues. But if you put a 92-96 top on an 80-91, the alignment pin will get in the way. Nothing serious, but it is still an issue. The alignment pin can be removed.
