It's important to use the correct coolant to prevent engine overheating and corrosion. BMW recommends a 50/50 mixture of coolant and distilled water for optimal performance. Always check your owner's manual for specific guidelines and recommendations regarding coolant type and maintenance.

For a 2004 BMW 745Li, it's recommended to use a high-quality, BMW-approved coolant that meets the specifications of BMW's N coolant standard (usually a blue or green color). The proper mix is typically a 50/50 ratio of coolant and distilled water. It's important to avoid using conventional green antifreeze as it may not be compatible with the BMW cooling system. Always check your owner's manual for specific recommendations.
