Yes, you can add and reprogram remote keys for a 2003 Alero with power locks, even if you don't have the original remote keys. You will need access to the vehicle's onboard diagnostics (OBD) system and a compatible key programming tool or software. Follow the specific programming procedure outlined in the vehicle's service manual, which typically involves a series of steps to enter programming mode and synchronize the new remote with the car's system. If you're unsure, it's best to consult a professional locksmith or dealership for assistance.
You would have to read the manual or go to a some type of car garage that will program it because all remotes are different. You could also go to your dealer and ask them if they could do something.
If you buy a second remote for the same device, you typically won't have to reprogram the old one, as most devices can recognize multiple remotes. However, if both remotes operate on the same frequency and share settings, it’s possible that programming one could affect the other. It's best to consult the device's manual for specific instructions regarding multiple remotes.

I had to replace the battery in mine and I pushed the unlock and lock buttons at the same time and it started to work again. Hope that helps, if not call your local Ford dealsrship, they told me they could reprogram it for free.
Without a remote, you may not be able to adjust the color settings directly on the Quasar VV2008. You could try to see if there are manual controls on the TV itself, but those are usually limited. Alternatively, you could look into getting a universal remote that is compatible with your TV model to adjust the color settings.
I've been working in the automotive feild for over 10 yrs. now and to my knowledge the only people who can reprogram the key-less entry remote, are the dealerships, most repair shops have all-data or mitchell on demand.....you could go on-line and pay for that information, however I'm not sure if all-data or mitchell would even have that info. Dealerships love keeping certain information for themselves so they can reach into your pockets. Good luck
the factory alarm remote may need to be re-programmed it olnly involves a series of ingnition turns and button pushes on the remote but you'll need to contact the dealership for specific instructions The manual that came with the car tells you how to reprogram the remote , and if you don't have one the manual can be downloaded from www.ford.com in PDF form.
my 2002 alero is missing and has no power what could b wrong
It could be that your ignition switch is faulty.I have a 2002 alero and after lots of headaches with the security light and the car not starting .A friend of mine, who works at a local Gm dealer advised me to replace the ignition housing itself. On top of it there is a very small relay that could be the problem. My car has worked good ever since. Also be careful with remote car starters as well. They seem to mess up the security system.Especially with Alero,s.
HMMM Im not sure how to answer this one. Do you mean lose the keyless entry remote or it just stops working? If you lost the remote you can get replacements from the dealer or Ebay but you will have to have GM reprogram the transmitters. Now if it just stopped working all together you should check the fuse #41. If that's fine it could be anything. bad BCM , bad remote control door lock receiver, loose wire or a freak accident that erase your remote programming, Good luck
The first thing you should do is call the front desk and ask for a remote. You could also just go up to the television and turn the power button on.
