To open the trunk on a 1993 Volvo 940, you can use the trunk release lever located inside the car, typically found near the driver's seat or on the driver's door panel. If the lever is not functioning, you can also use the key to unlock the trunk directly by inserting it into the trunk lock located on the rear of the vehicle. If the trunk is stuck due to a malfunction, check for any obstructions or consider consulting a mechanic for assistance.

In a 1993 Volvo 940, the block temperature sensor is typically located on the engine block, near the thermostat housing. It can be found on the driver's side of the engine, often near the cylinder head. This sensor monitors the engine's coolant temperature and sends the information to the gauge on the dashboard. If you're having trouble locating it, consult your vehicle's repair manual for a detailed diagram.

I have a 93 940 and there is a bunch of relays behind the fuse board. Need to remove the ashtray and fuse board cover. I found that giving them all a wiggle and good press down fixed my overdrive dropping out problem for now. I am looking for a wiring diagram myself to check which one it is. good luck peterL
