The lamps are spring loaded on one side. Push the lamp towards the center and remove. Put in bulb and snap back in.
Mark 1 version - side-lamps (and headlight bulbs) can be replaced following the directions in the handbook, but it's all done by touch and feel since you can't see a thing. It helps if your hands and fingers are not too large, and you might be bent over the front of the car for a while especially if the bulb retaining clip decides to spring off from its fitting. after replacing one bulb I took it to local independent repair shop who did it in 5 minutes for a fiver. Mark 2 - bulb replacement requires the removal of the font bumper - can be a DIY job (but beware if you have headlamp washers set into bumper). Citroen dealer wanted to charge £!00; same local repairer as above did it for £45. A crazy arrangement, but apparently more and more common across a range of makes and models.
Easy one. Raise hood. Remove one screw at top of of light. Lift up on lamp and pull out exposing lamp connector. Turn counter clockwise and remove from housing. Pull out Bulb and replace.
