To change the immobilizer code on a Peugeot 306, you typically need access to the vehicle's diagnostic tools, such as a Peugeot-specific scanner or OBD-II tool that supports immobilizer functions. First, connect the tool to the OBD-II port and navigate to the immobilizer settings. Follow the prompts to input a new code, ensuring it meets security requirements. Finally, save the changes and test the system to confirm the new code is functioning correctly.

To reset the immobilizer code on a Peugeot 306 SL after three failed attempts, you'll need to use the vehicle's key and the ignition system. First, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the 'On' position without starting the engine. Leave it in this position for about 10 minutes until the immobilizer light goes off, then turn the ignition off and back on again. If this doesn’t work, you may need to consult a professional or use diagnostic equipment to reset the immobilizer.

Bypassing the immobilizer on a Peugeot 306 CC is not recommended as it can be illegal and may lead to security issues. If you're experiencing problems with your immobilizer, it's best to consult a qualified mechanic or an automotive locksmith who can diagnose and resolve the issue safely and legally. They may be able to reprogram the key or repair the immobilizer system as needed. Always prioritize legal and ethical solutions when dealing with vehicle security systems.
If it is the original 306 up to about p reg before the facelift model then you just remove the wire from the cap and unscrew it with a socket. Easy!! If it is the facelift model then it's protected as part of the immobilizer and is very difficult to remove for obvious reasons. Garage job..
i dont know how to disable completely but if you have got the code wrong a few times and wont let you try again then you have to disconnect the battery in order to try again.
