Petrol version - open the bonnet (US: hood). Look for bottom hose of radiator and follow it up to find the thermostat. Disconnect the hose unions and watch your coolant disappear. (Do not try this indoors.) Undo two mounting bolts, remove and replace with new unit. Reassemble in reverse order. Refill with coolant.
