To check the electronic ignition on a 1993 VW Eurovan, first ensure the battery is fully charged and in good condition. Next, inspect the ignition coil and its connections for any signs of damage or corrosion. You can test the ignition coil's output by using a multimeter to check for spark at the distributor cap; if there's no spark, the ignition module may need to be replaced. Additionally, verify that the crankshaft position sensor is functioning, as it plays a critical role in the ignition system.
electronic ignition on the 93, no controll. just set your timing.
electronic ignition module
according to Bentley, it is number 21.
Apparently you have NO clue that the truck has electronic ignition! Meaning the truck does NOT have points! It has a rotor button, and ignition module.Points have not been used on the for years and the 86-93 Mazda series are all electronic ignition. I own a 89 b2000 and the point gap is 0.45-0.55 and it DOES have points! I can take a photo for you if you like? So they are NOT all electronic ignition!
The base model is 2wd. They also made "synchro" models that are 4wd.
That's the 2 coil packs where one end of the spark plug wires connect ( Electronic Distributorless Ignition System )
Please check your spark plugs, wires, distributor and rotor or the ignition coil module. My '93 LX has an ignition coil module.
How do you replace the ignition distributor on a 93 mx6 v6 pics?
how to change manual ignition switch on a 93 Honda accord
I can't answer about the diagram, but you won't find a cap and rotor...they don't have one. Electronic ignition. Follow a plug wire back. Where you'd expect to find the distributor, you'll find the electronic ignition instead. 93 Chev Lumina APV does have a cap and rotor and also have ignition coils it all depends which factory it was built at. As for Diagrams i find HaynesRepair manual is pretty good.
You cycle ignition on, off,on,off,on and count the blinks.
