1. you have to make sure piston one is on top at TDC,
2. drain the oil and remove the engine oil pan and the pick oil pipe that is secure for 2 8mm bolts and a 13mm nut.
3. you have to remove the fan and that plastic shrout.
4. remove drive belt. note: if you are using air tools you can remove the belt and then undo the water pump pulley. if not you have to undo the 3. 8mm bolts securing the water pump pulley and then remove the drive belt. the drive belt tensioner pulley is a 15 mm.
5. remove the cranck pulley bolt it's a 15/16. and then remove the connector behind the cranck.
6. remove 9. 7/16 bolts or 11mm. and remove the timing cover.
7. make sure the crank mark its on pointing up and the cam mark is pointing down if these two marks are facing each other the timing it's fine.
